South African’s share hilarious reactions to Tyla’s premier MET Gown

South Africa and the world all had jaws on the ground after footage of TikTokker turned Grammy recipient at the met became viral. @Titizma1 compares Tyla to Kim Kardashian – who is known for show stopping looks- saying Tyla did what the realty tv royal was hoping to do. Kim Kardashian wasn’t the only A lister Tyla was compared to, “Alia, Tyla and Zendaya are too good omg” said @missingjin24x7.

In this video shared by PopBase, Tyla is seen being lifted over stairs as the dress clearly limits mobility and some users are greatly amused by the impracticality. @Simp1yVon said:

“Beautiful concept but my 1st thought is if you gotta lift me to get up the stairs just run me my slides cuz Iā€™m not moving. 2nd thought is what if she need to use the bathroom”

Some are big fans of the whole experience and believe it’s exactly what Tyla deserves. See this thread of users applauding the royal treatment received by Tyla at her inaugural Met.
