MNet’s Big Brother Mzansi Season 4 is underway in South Africa, and fans are already making their picks for the millions on the line

The reality shows named after George Orwell’s Big Brother which depicts a civilisation where the state always had them under surveillance

Similarly, Big Brother involved contestants named “House guests” who will live under 24-hour surveillance and on a live broadcast.

How does Big Brother work?

The house guests will get to interact with each other in the same house. At the end of the week, everyone must vote for people to be possibly evicted by public vote.

The last standing wins R2 million. Most often, the winner is one who gets the most favour from the public. South Africa’s Big Brother season 4 was off to a raving start.

BBMzansi was a trending topic on X when food vendor Lindokuhle Bravo B Nsele from Kwazulu Natal was evicted from the house for making alarming remarks about fellow housemate Liema.

Bravo B was speaking to Makhekhe and said he wanted to sexually take advantage of Liyema “Liema” Phantsi. The disturbing footage sparked uproar on social media as many thought Bravo B’s statement sounded like a threat of sexual assault. Multichoice had him evicted leaving Makhekhe who took part in the conversation about Liema.

Following Bravo B’s eviction, many wondered why Tshepo Makhekhe” Tau from Katlehong, Ekurhuleni wasn’t kicked out too. The 28-year-old got a firm talking to from Big Brother instead.

Student and bartender from Qonce, Eastern Cape Liema has gotten a lot of attention in the house. The Eastern Cape native has dazzled potential supporters in the first few days.

Many felt sorry for her since she was the subject of Bravo B’s comments. Viewers have also been raving about her personality.

Zee’s beauty steals show on BBMzansi 4

Zinhle Zee” Mofokeng from Vaal Triangle, Gauteng who is a club hostess has also gotten lots of attention online. Many have been raving about her looks, showering her with compliments. Some have already started campaigning that she wins R2 million.

Chuenza stuns in Rich Mnisi outfit on BBMzansi

Chuene Chuenzaa Kaapu from Limpopo is a marketing manager and self-described fashionista. She dropped jaws with a Rich Mnisi look from his latest drop. Viewers were raving after noticing her in an ensemble by the South African designer.

Chuenza wore a piece called The Dog Ate My Skirt which retails at R3 599.99. She paired it with the Rich Mnisi Tartan Tartan Tartan Twist Tube worth the same price.

It is still a long way to go for Big Brother Mzansi season four. The reality show will be airing until 31 March 2024.
