The Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) Season 4 finale had South Africa buzzing. The season’s dramatic end as well as details of the anticipated reunion have created quite a scene on the socials.
4th Season of RHOD ends with Angel and Maria’s altercation
The South African instalment of the American reality franchise, The Real Housewives, started on 29 January 2021 and has had four seasons since then. The fourth season ended with a dramatic episode on the 24 of April 2024.
During the last supper of the season, an argument between cast members Maria and Angel got so heated it almost ended in a physical fight. After arguing for a while, Angel and Maria’s conflict escalated when Maria shouted “let’s go b**tch” at Angel. Angel quickly responded to the invitation yelling back “Asambe” (let’s go) and immediately started to charge towards Maria.
Fans were shocked to see the clip of the heared exchange. Angel and Maria can be seen charging at each other as other cast mates tried to keep them apart.
RHOD fans split over cast members’ beefs
While there is no question that the fans of Real Housewives of Durban thoroughly enjoyed the finale drama, it is clear they are not all on the same team. When it comes to the altercations, each of the housewives has a band of supporters backing them. However, the fight between Angel and Maria has definitely revealed that most viewers support Angel. Some viewers were impressed with Angel and how she stood up to Maria, believing she is exactly the person to go toe to toe with Maria.

Showmax announces RHODurban reunion host
One thing about the fans and viewers of RHODurban is they are not afraid to let their opinions known – much like the cast themselves.
On 25 April 2024, Showmax shared the much anticipated announcement of who will be hosting the Season 4 reunion. According to the network, South African Radio and TV personality Mablerh will be the host of the reunions episodes for the second time.
Some viewers were excited to have Mablerh back on the host’s seat, and they applauded Showmax for listening to their requests for his reutn. @BekithembaZ seems to think quite highly of the tv personality, saying he was the only viable choice to host:

Some ‘RHOD’ viewers not excited for Mablerh’s return
