Jonathan Majors footage creates doubts in trial: Why did Megan Good and her actor bf cry at the end?

Jonathan Majors was arrested in March on assault and harassment charges involving his now-ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari

The Love County actor faced allegations that included hitting Jabbari’s face, twisting her arm, and fracturing her finger.

Recent footage of the night in question creates a different narrative from the one that Jabbari has offered

What did Jonathan Majors video show in court?

The actor faces allegations of assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, in an incident that has been examined and criticized by the court and the public alike. Prosecutors claim Majors physically harmed Jabbari during a car ride. Which resulted in injuries like a fractured finger, bruising, and a laceration.

In the video, Jonathan can be seen running away from Jabbari, his then-girlfriend. According to The Cut, the footage captures her pursuing him, and though it doesn’t exonerate him, it has created doubt in the public eye.

Why did Jonathan Majors and Megan Good cry in court?

According to Rolling Stone, the actor cried when his attorney Priya Chaudhry reminded the court that he fears for black men in the US when they have to call 911. Megan Good who is in court to support her partner, Majors, was also moved to tears along with Chaudhry.

Jonathan Majors’ lawyer argued against Grace Jabbari

The defendant’s lawyers have disagreed with this version of events pointing to the fact that Jabbari was seen later that night in a club and took shots and squeezed lime with the alleged injured finger. The defence also asked a doctor to cross-examine the wound behind Jabbari’s ear and concluded that it would be unlikely to be caused by a blow to the head.

Both sides agree that the incident reportedly unfolded after Jabbari saw a suspicious text on Majors’ phone. Though Major’s defence asserts Jabbari was the aggressor, as she attempted to steal his phone. The evidence is limited on that claim.

The legal battle also involves contrasting narratives about their relationship, with Majors’ lawyers portraying Jabbari as physically aggressive, while Majors himself filed a cross-complaint accusing Jabbari of assault.

Though most people are divided over the accusations, opinions since the release of the video are changing. Online users took to Twitter to express their thoughts over the Jonath Majors accusations:

on X @TheBlackChannel argued:

Jonathan Majors is proof a Black man can have a woman CHASING him for MILES, and they’ll still say HE is attacking her.
Also, it’s the middle of New York city and NOT A COP TO BE SEEN while this man is being CHASED
