KZN have successfully rescued over 30 suspected human trafficking victims from a house in Benoni Gauteng.

The investigation into this trafficking syndicate began after a case was reported in Benoni by the brother of a foreign missionary.

With the assistance of other national police specialized units, they ambushed the house where the victims were being held. The operation resulted in the arrest of one suspect and the rescue of 33 male victims.
